Drink
Today's drink is a desert and a drink, the Kahlua Shake.
74 Oz Kahlua . Coffee Liqueur
73 Scoops (8 Ounces) Vanilla Ice Cream
Combine in a blender for 30 - 45 seconds. Note that the linked recipe calls for 2 oz of Kahlua . and 1/4 cup of cream. If you don't want people too drunk, stick with their version. We prefer our version (8.2% alcohol) to theirs (4.1%). The cream is not necessary in ours because the Kahlua is adequate to thin out the ice cream. Don't bother plugging this recipe into the Drink Calorie Analyzer, it won't be pretty. J

"That was the liquor speaking." Not so fast! The fact of the matter is that we are ourselves. The mouth speaks the overflow of the heart. Alcohol may lower our inhibitions, but this just reduces our inclination to control the flow from our hearts to our mouths. Angry drunks are full of anger. Happy drunks are full of unexpressed feelings of love. We shouldn't ignore what we do drunk, nor what our friends do drunk. It's a clue to what's going on inside. The expression of suppressed thoughts and feelings is both a blessing and a curse. The curse is there regardless. The blessing is only there if what is released is subsequently dealt with when all parties involved are in a relatively sober state.
